Description

The Flow Cup is shaped for quiet moments, for espresso at dawn, or tea in the late afternoon. Its silhouette traces a gentle wave from base to rim, a form that captures movement even in stillness.

Each curve follows the rhythm of touch, light, and use. The smaller 35 ml size suits a single espresso or sake pour; the 120 ml version fits perfectly for tea, milk, or a short coffee. Together they bring a sense of balance to the table, a harmony between utility and art, between gesture and calm.

Held in the hand, the cup feels grounded yet delicate. It turns everyday drinking into a slow ritual, one that reconnects you with the simple pleasure of presence.

maintenance

Caring for what you own is part of the experience.
Each cleaning, each gentle touch, is a quiet act of continuation.

  • Avoid placing the carafe in a microwave, oven, or steamer, high heat may affect the glaze.
  • Dishwasher safe; gentle cycles are best.
  • Avoid metal utensils or rough sponges on the surface.
  • After use, rinse and dry softly to preserve the glaze’s depth.
  • For light stains, soak briefly with baking soda and warm water.

Inspiration

Your living space deserves more than function, it deserves poetry.

Echo Line draws its spirit from the fluid strokes of Chinese shanshui painting.

Unlike Western traditions of realism, these landscapes were never about replication, but suggestion, a few sweeping lines to evoke mountains, rivers, and air itself.

The collection carries this sensibility into form: each curve and contour shaped not to mimic nature, but to suggest its breath.

In OWC’s world, everyday objects hold space for calm, balancing utility with the sculptural stillness of an imagined landscape.

The Artisan Behind

Echo Line Collection is created in the workshop of Master Cao Zhixiong and his daughter, whose family has worked porcelain since the 19th century in Dehua.

Here, there are no machines of mass production, only the quiet rhythm of brushes across clay and the patient gaze of a craftsman.

The tradition of Guangcai porcelain, once carried across oceans as a bridge between China and the West, finds new life in their hands.

Each object is more than a functional object; it is a dialogue between past and present, East and West, a continuity of devotion shaped in fire and silence.

We are honored to have collaborated with Master Cao and his team to create this unique tableware collection, an endeavor made possible only through their deep knowledge, remarkable skill, and unwavering commitment to their craft.
