Description

After the rain, the air along the Niru River grows dense and green. Mist drifts low through the reeds, and the forest releases its scent. Willow Mist was shaped from that feeling.

Its green tone isn’t from pigment alone, it’s from memory: the hue of moss after water, of leaves pressed against glass. Each plate carries slight shifts in shade, like ripples across a still surface.

When placed at a table, it doesn’t demand presence; it brings calm. A small fragment of landscape translated into something you can hold.

* Size - Round Octagon: Ø240x60H mm

* Each Mist Plate is handmade, where fire and floew create natural variations in tone and texture. No two pieces,  even from the same kiln, are ever identical. This individuality is the charm of the craft; those who prefer uniform colour may wish to consider this before ordering.

maintenance

When craft meets life, daily rituals become quietly extraordinary.

  • Avoid placing the carafe in a microwave, oven, or steamer, high heat may affect the glaze.
  • Dishwasher safe; gentle cycles are best.
  • Avoid metal utensils or rough sponges on the surface.
  • After use, rinse and dry softly to preserve the glaze’s depth.
  • For light stains, soak briefly with baking soda and warm water.

Inspiration

Not distant treasures, but companions that walk quietly with you.

Mist does not stay still, it travels, absorbs colour, leaves traces, then disappears. This collection holds that fleeting moment in form.

Inspired by the drifting mists of Niru Village in northern Yunnan, the collection reflects not only a place, but a way of seeing, where the familiar turns abstract, and silence carries shape.

Objects of Eastern Artistry,

Inherited for Modern Living.

The Artisan Behind

Formed in a glass studio near Haba Snow Mountain, each plate is guided by hand with the slow rhythm of handwork and cooling time. This collection, created in collaboration with Naxi artisan Lamu Yeyang, blends her memory of misted mornings with a material capable of holding them. Crystal glass, clean, modern, yet full of softness.
